Ebe bids farewell to Sugarfree

Dear friends: Thank you for supporting Sugarfree for the past 11 years. By the end of February 2011, our bandmate, Ebe Dancel, will be leaving the band. We would like to express our support in Ebe’s pursuits. Please attend our series of send-off gigs for Ebe. Sugarfree will still continue its own musical journey. We will keep you posted regarding the future activities of the band. See you at the gigs!

UPDATE: Ivan Reitman on Ghostbusters 3

Here's what Reitman has to say:

ComingSoon.net: So, you know we have to ask you what's going on with "Ghostbusters 3," right?
Ivan Reitman: [laughs] We have a really good script, but Bill (Murray) has to read it. He hasn't read it. There has been all kinds of chatter online about him reading it and not liking it. He has not read a thing. He's never read anything. And I just sent it to him. So we'll see. God knows how long that will take. But we'll see.

CS: There have been a ton of stories online. Lots of back and forth...
Reitman: There is almost nothing that is accurate online about that film. Will you write that for me?

CS: I will!
Reitman: There is nothing... I mean, all these stories... there has been a ton of stuff about casting, about who's in... none of it is true.

CS: The whole Sigourney Weaver thing about Venkman's son taking over and Bill Murray coming back as a ghost...
Reitman: Oh, no, yeah... I mean, Sigourney Weaver has a role in this movie. All the original characters have parts. As well as a whole bunch of new characters... it's got a really good story, this one. Maybe the best of the whole series. I hope we get to do it.

SS501's Park Jung Min will be in Manila this February

SS501’s Park Jung Min has high hopes for 2011, as he was born in the year of the rabbit back in 1987. He’s been gearing up for his solo debut since late last year and has released a Japanese photobook, “Present,” and opened fan signings since then.

His first solo album will be released on January 20th and his schedule is jam packed with events for the year.

He stated, “In January, I’ll be promoting my album in Korea. An international tour in Japan, Taiwan, the Philippines, and Thailand is planned for February. Starting April, I’ll be filming for a drama in Taiwan. I’ll be coming home once in a while for fan meetings and my birthday, but I think I’ll be fully immersed in the drama for three months. In May, I’ll be releasing a Japanese album followed by Chinese promotions. For the second half of the year, I’ll return to Korea and announce my drama filming and new album.”

Even upon first glance, his schedule looks busy and breathless, and even though he claims himself to be a lazy person by nature, Park revealed that he pushes himself to work hard because he no longer has the safety of his fellow SS501 members that have been by his side for the past five years.

He continued, “At first, I didn’t agree to what we’re doing now because I loved the comfort of being a part of a group. But now that we’re all walking separate paths in an effort to learn new things, I decided that this would be a good opportunity for me to learn and improve myself. I could’ve settled for what I had, but this solo debut has allowed me to break out of the cage I put myself in.”

Park Jung Min first declared his debut last November in the form of a digital single, but postponed it to February due to the Yeonpyeong Island incident. He took the delay as an opportunity to add more tracks to the album and release it as a full official album. Unfortunately, the 15,000 singles that he already printed were trashed due to the change.

“I rushed the preparations so there were a lot of things missing, and I instead took the opportunity to start new. I’m the first out of SS501 to be releasing a solo album so I felt the pressure and responsibility. I trashed everything I had and re-recorded everything and edited the music video again as well. You can definitely look forward to it,” he explained.

His first showcase/fan meeting scheduled for the 22nd has sold out within 14 minutes of the tickets going on sale. “They said that starting from this year till I turn 30, my future will be like a broad and level road. So much luck is coming in even now, I’m really looking forward to this year.”

This will be my first blog post here in my newly made blogger site and last post this year 2010. Starting next year which is 2011, I'm gonna switch again here in blogger to blog and will be leaving Tumblr. I'm gonna share my wonderful experience this 2010 and it starts now...

Family:
- First I would like to thank my mom and dad in supporting me all this year and always believing in me whatever reasons and decisions i made, thank you very much I love you mom and dad always.

Kpop group idols:
- This 2010 is also my beginning in the Kpop world and I was lucky to see my 2nd favorite Kpop girl group LIVE and personal none other than CUBE's entertainment 4minute. They toured the Philippines and had a major mall shows performances and being there is like a dream come true. Then followed by 4minute it's FTIsland a Korean pop rock band lead by the vocalist Hongki and also they had a tv appearance and a showcase but too bad I didnt had the chance to watch them. Another group of Korean boy groups like Ukiss and BEAST also had a mall shows, this is the time I've became a BEAST fan when they visited here.

Kpop fandom friends:
- This year wouldnt be completed if i hadnt meet my wonderful fandom friends! you guys are really my blessings this year and I'm very grateful on all of you guys.

Kpop fanclubs family:
- Also my Kpop fandom will not be complete without my loving family of Kpop fanclubs of course Wonderful Philippines (Wonder Girls) is my first and will be my forever family and I'm very grateful to be part of this fanclub also. Also my second family which is 4minute Philippines, thank you guys in welcoming me and to all my other fanclubs thank you very much.
